Travel to Prague for a Short Break

If you’re hoping to slip an extra short break in before your summer holiday, which feels so far off, why not consider a stay in one of the most beautiful European capitals? Prague is a Bohemian marvel and with flights and accommodation available at such good rates at the moment, such a short break really need not cost that much.

Now is definitely the best time to travel to Prague. Hotel prices are far lower than you would pay during the more popular summer months and there are even Prague apartments for you to stay in if you fancy more of your own space.

Flights wise, you can actually find return ticket prices to this great city from as little as £50. Be careful here though as some of the no frills airlines will advertise even lower fares, but when you get around to booking the ticket, they will rip you off completely with the numerous extra charges. I recently booked such a ticket through such an airline beginning with ‘R’ and ended up paying £20.00 extra for using a debit card. That’s debit, not credit!

Do not be put off by looking at the fares that are available for the more traditional airlines. Often, these fares are more honest and what you see with them is what you get.

There are definitely some great deals on travelling to Prague and the winter and spring months are equally ideal times to travel to this immensely romantic city.
